As a security precaution, our system checks email and password combinations against a registry of accounts that have previously been compromised. These accounts become compromised when a website or application suffers a data breach.
If our system finds a match, we reset the password for the account and trigger a reset password email. This prevents hackers from using an email and password combination found in a data breach from another service (like LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) to try to gain access to BePrime accounts.
If this has happened to you, here is what you should do:
Send a reset password email by going to https://beprime.com/users/password/new
Check your email and follow the link to reset your password
When setting a new password, use a password that is completely unique to your BePrime account. Do not reuse a password from another account you use, like Facebook, Twitter, etc. or your account will be insecure.
Check your email(s) against the HaveIBeenPwned.com project to see what accounts you have on other websites or apps might have been compromised in data breaches.
The BePrime platform gives you all the necessary tools for personal development, without limiting you to a single path. That’s the best thing about BePrime – it is the users themselves who decide how to use the app to their greatest advantage. You can ask others for advice, of course, but since it is your personal journey, it really should be you that charts the path forward.
Now if you have the app, here are a couple of tips to get you started!
In its essence BePrime was built around one fairly simple task – achieving one’s goals. Hence, all the other functions are tied, in one way or another, to the goal(s) you set.
With that in mind, the most effective way of using the app is:
Start off by defining S.M.A.R.T. goals for yourself.
Break the goal down into smaller tasks that need to be finished in order to achieve the main goal.
Or
Break the goal down into habits – things/activities you need to do continuously for a set period of time in order to achieve a goal.
Schedule the necessary time for these actions and then they will appear in your calendar and also on your home screen in the task manager section.
Next to each scheduled action there is an “add a note” button. That way you can describe your task in your own words. In the “Notes” section you can filter all the notes that have been added to certain tasks and habits which in turn are tied to a specific goal. What you get in the end is a neat timeline that explains how you are progressing towards a goal and what steps should be taken next. You can also find an analytical progress report under the “Goals” section.
The “Finances” section will soon be integrated with the remainder of the app, but currently it still stands as an autonomous function outside the interconnected network of the rest of the app. That said, if you want to keep things short and simple in general, all the other features of the app can also be used independently. For instance, you can write down a book recommendation, schedule to drop off your car at a repair shop, create a short to-do-list, write down your thoughts and feelings in the diary, work on getting rid of bad habits or keep track of your expenses – all that without any specific goal set first.
